Giving Creatives & Artists the Opportunity to Build Sustainable Careers

Giving Creatives & Artists the Opportunity to Build Sustainable Careers

What I AM talking about here is the entrepreneurial skills creatives need to provide fulfilling sustainable careers, as to be honest, the lack of any basic entrepreneurial education taught in art colleges and schools at present is appalling.

Creative & Artistic Entrepreneurs Academy

Creative & Artistic Entrepreneurs Academy

CREATIVE ENTREPRENEURS ACADEMY bridges two apparently remote poles of human activities – CREATIVITY & BUSINESS to combat unemployment, create new jobs, support development & personal growth.

CREATIVE ENTREPRENEURS ACADEMY at the Centre for Creative Practices is the first entrepreneurial offline and online development programme which combines a physical space for desk / office sharing, an incubator programme, and accelerator programme and access to other creatives, funders, mentors, resources for CREATIVES in Ireland helping them to become successful and sustainable entrepreneurs.

Samuel Robinson – Divisions – Five Minutes on The Street

Five Minutes on The Street

This project is a five minute short film from the perspective of a homeless person sitting on the cold streets of Dublin. This is done via an actor and will records how the homeless on the streets of Dublin are ignored by many of the people who walk past them on the street.

Homeless is an issue that every city faces and Dublin is no exception to this. The purpose of Five Minutes on The Street is to highlight the problem of homelessness that Dublin face’s.
As we walk to and from where we need to go throughout our day, we ignore the people who are forced to live on the streets. The homeless on the streets of Dublin are glossed over like a piece of the scenery.

There is no helping people who face these issues if they are not even acknowledged as even being there. By ignoring the issue itw will not get any better, it will only get worse.

The goal of Five Minutes on The Streets is to hopefully snap people back into seeing the issue of homelessness. By showing them how the homeless are ignored, the hope is that they will be more aware and empathetic to the homeless people that they pass every day. By reawakening this awareness, more people we be in a better place to help those facing the struggle of homelessness and start to solve the issue of homelessness.

Is The Illusion of Limited Resources Holding You Back?

So, next time you find yourself facing some kind of limitation, just know that it is an illusion and ask yourself, “Who has the resources I need and how can I access those resources from them?”

Just asking yourself this question will force your mind to think in a totally new way and come up with a creative solution.
